SEASHELLS and Superstition.are they considered bad luck in Mexican culture?
Casper asked:
When I was in elementary school I hanged out with alot of mexican girls. I told them my mom collected lots of seashells in her bathroom. They all said it was very bad to have seashells in your house. I always thought that was so strange. Has anybody else heard this before, or know the story behind it if there is one?

I have heard that displaying some kinds of sea shells “inside” your home can be bad luck. I have heard this from many kinds of culture including the mexican and brazilian cultures. Although, i have heard it is ok to display them outside in a garden or on a patio.
